Cheyenne was born and raised in Minnesota. In 2015, she graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Science and in Wildlife Ecology – Research & Management and a Bachelor of Science in Biology. During her time at Stevens Point, Cheyenne captured black bears and studied their reproduction in the Chequamegon National Forest in northern Wisconsin.
After graduation, Cheyenne has spent time on various projects as a white-tailed deer research technician. Projects she has worked on include Ball State University’s Bloomington Deer Study and the Southwest CWD Deer and Predator Project of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
She is currently pursuing a M.S. Degree in Wildlife under the direction of Drs. Gino D’Angelo and Karl Miller. Her research project is focused on survival, cause-specific mortality, and spatial ecology of adult female white-tailed deer and fawns in the northern Georgia mountains.
